Indoor Hitter's Leagues at SOPRO

Game play consists of two teams ( of 4-6 players ) playing a virtual game using the Hittrax system. Traditional game format with each team getting three outs/inning. Pitching machine is used for consistent pitching. Game length is usually around 25 minutes. Players will get LOTS OF AT BATS. With the small teams and fast-paced action, players are likely to have double digit at bats Each game. Each team will play two (or four) games (same evening) once /week depending on the specific league format. What makes SOPRO's version of the League Unique is our "player performance" rankings and team selection. Teams are selected based on player metrics to create even, competitive teams. Teams are adjusted each week based on the previous weeks' results. Team win / loss is a fun thing to consider, but is NOT INCLUDED in over-all standings since teams change each week. Game results (including individual player metrics) are posted weekly. 

Following the final league games, the top 8 players in the player ranking qualify for the "Championship Series". Which will be played following the completion of the regular season. What makes this exciting is that a player qualifies for the Championship Series based entirely on the players individual performances !

SOPRO Players League games are live-streamed on our social media platforms, and can be downloaded for individual review of your performances.

To participate in the league, you will register online and submit the $25 Jersey fee and select the jersey color and number you'd like. The league fee is $20/week which can be paid weekly or at registration.
